BigBird’s Playhouse is a distinguished preschool in Staten Island that provides a wide range of programs, in order to suit the needs of children from different age groups.

The school’s well qualified and experienced staff makes sure that all the required activities are completed in the best possible manner. Some of these important activities are: arts & crafts, outdoor play, storytelling, music, dancing, camping, etc.
Even though art is one the basic activities, it is a very important one. This activity can benefit children in many ways like:

  • It helps children to express their feelings and emotions in a better manner. Regular participation in art activities creates a source of motivation and helps their decision-making abilities.
  • Art also helps children to think clearly and to enhance their analysis power. It ultimately helps them learn and strengthen their problem solving skills.
  • Art plays an important role in developing excellent motor skills in preschoolers. When children hold paintbrushes, construction paper, scissors, and other art supplies to perform this activity, not only do they learn the skills required for this activity, but for many others like writing.   http://goo.gl/U4x913
